About the role
We are looking for a mechanically and electrically minded commission & service engineer, preferably with some gas works background (however a Gassafe training package will be offered for the right candidate).
The job is based in Sheffield but working nationally and occasionally internationally on a range of gas and electric industrial ovens and spraybooths.
The standard hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm but with the role there is an expectation to travel nationally which will sometimes include overnight stays - these are paid for by the company, a generous 'stop out' allowance will be provided and overtime will be paid at time and a half after the initial 37.5 hours
What to expect
As one of our service engineers you will be working on a range of electrical and gas ovens and spraybooths manufactured in our Sheffield factory, a full induction will provide extensive training of the kit you will be installing, servicing and repairing on customer sites and you will have the full support of our technical and management team who have a wealth of knowledge in the industry.
As you will be taking on a customer facing role, you will be expected to work within industry and company safety protocols, adhering to method statements and risk assessments; and also to be personable and professional to long standing customers.
